| The forearm is synthetic with three slots per side and
integral bipod grooves. This barrel does not have the provision to attach a
bipod assembly. The synthetic material is different from the
pistol grip and buttstock. It appears to be a type of reinforced nylon composition. The unit was lightly sanded and
sandblasted with 80 grit aluminum oxide. The metal inserts are
zinc phosphated. The forearms cleaned up very nice. |
